Woman attacked by three teens

Police are looking for three teens who attacked and robbed a 22-year-old woman on her way to work last week in the 5600 block of North California Avenue.

The woman was about half way to work when a boy came up from behind her and grabbed her umbrella. Two girls then tackled her, police said.

Once on the ground all three teenagers began to kick and punch her. One of the girls then reached into the victim's coat pocket and stole her black coin purse, which held $20,  police said.

The three robbers then fled in a black Jeep Cherokee, police said. The victim was not injured from the incident.

The woman described her attackers as an 18-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall; a 16-year-old white female with blond hair who was about 5 feet 7 inches tall; and a 16-year-old black female with black hair in a braid who stood about 5 foot 4.
