After former Marine Zachary McKee fell onto the Purple Line tracks in Evanston Sunday, he laughed and then tried to use his right arm to push himself up.
McKee's younger brother says McKee then made contact with the energized third rail, shocking himself immediately.
“And that was it,” Lucas McKee, 25, tells the Trib. “It happened so fast.”
The elder McKee, 27, of Indiana was about to earn a degree in politcal science. He was in town for the Cubs game Sunday.
