The days of the cheap Sun-Times are coming to an end in outlaying areas. The Chicago Tribune, which distributes the Sun-Times, announced the price of the Sun-Times would increase to $1 daily from $0.75 and $2.50 on Sunday from $2.
The price increase goes into effect Monday according to a letter given to retailers this week. The new price matches that of similar Chicago Tribune products and is limited to "country" markets, which are towns and counties outside the Metro area.
