Warrants issued for two men in New Year's Day killings

Arrests warrant were issued Tuesday for two men wanted in connection with a New Year's Day shooting in a Logan's Square apartment that left three people dead.

Eric Seandino, 24 and Fernando Palomino, 30, both of Chicago, are suspects in the Jan. 1 shooting of Martha Ortega, 43, Jose Bravo, 27, Jose Soberanis-Radilla, 36, and a 28-year-old man who remains hospitalized, police said.

Ortega and Bravo died at the scene. Soberanis-Radilla died Sunday at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Police say the shootings, which took place in Soberanis-Radilla's apartment at 2415 N. Monticello Ave., were drug related and there was no sign of forced entry.

Michael Sanchez, 24, of Chicago, was arrested the same day and charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm, Chicago Police spokesman Marcel Bright said.

Sanchez is being held without bail.
