Man robbed at gunpoint

A man was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night at 940 W. Carmen Street, according to police.

The victim was walking down Carmen Street when a man exited a parked car and pointed a handgun at him, police said.

The gunman told the victim, "Do not move, you don't want to get shot," according to the report.

A second man exited the car, pushed the victim to the ground and stood on his hands while both attackers went through his pockets, police said.

When they discovered the victim's empty wallet they threw it back at him and fled the scene with only the victim's cell phone, police said.
