A dissatisfied postal customer shot a mail carrier on the South Side last night, police said.
Post Office employee Denny Robinson was wounded in the thigh and taken to Advocate Christ
Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
He was in good condition this afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 11800 block of South State. As Robinson walked his route, a man began yelling at him about a delayed mail delivery and then shot him, police
Police have not yet arrested the gunman.
